I had the same problem with iTunes playlists with SS 6.5 on my brand new
SB3. I ran slim.exe from the command line, but this is, to say the
least, an inelegant solution. I don't know yet if new playlists will be
pickup up by SS or if I'll have to re-run the command.

My iTunes playlists seem to come and go. For the recent past, they have

just installed the latest SlimServer Version: 6.3.0 - 8148 - Windows

Yes, I have that set on mine. I hate to admit it but after two days of
trying, I'm giving up. I found a utility to export iTunes' playlists
to m3u playlists so, I did that and moved the m3u playlists into the
playlist directory.
