Also temporarily try it on WiFi but much closer to the router. What are
your walls made of? Perhaps the wall construction is hampering the
signal?

One other consideration is whether you can move the router. We had low
signal on our duet receiver and moved our (dsl) router to the kitchen.
Only about 12 feet, but it also removed two walls from the signal path.
Since then we've had no signal problems with the duet or our other

cord and try that out. then I will see what I can about moving the modem
and rounter or the homeplug ethernet route.

I only use mysqueezebox.com. I downloaded a wifi tool as suggested. My
levels are in the ow 40's. I tried changing the various other channels
on the wireless router but that was about as good as I could get. It's
weird because the squeezebox is only about 25'
I tried every channel from 1 - 11. Some where worse but 42- 46% was as
good I could get even when avoiding other nearby networks.

On MySB.com you can increase the buffer time. The default is only 3s. Go
to Players, select your player then
I connected to LMS today. It didn't cut out once all day.
My buffer is set to 30 secs.
