The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is next week in the US - many new

I did wonder how
I just bought a nook color and rooted it. I love it for $250. I think
I prefer the 7 for kindle books and squeezecommander, but 10 might be
nicer for general web browsing. Right now I'm on a cross country
flight reading ebook, surfing the web and streaming Pandora. :)

The Nook color was what I was thinking of, however, I don't think it's
available in the UK yet. Good reviews by cnet engadget.

You know, I'm all for progress. It's change I object to.

Do any of you use Android Tablets? Any recommendations? Some come with
10 screens which would be nice.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab and an Archos 10.1 (and and iPad).
I barely use the Archos 10.1 because the screen is too bad and the
battery is empty very, very fast
In my opinion, the best tablet to be released in 2011 will be the iPad
2. Apple is still ahead of the field in this market.

I would say consider the iPad...the price

The Samsung Tab is the only current Android tablet worth discussing.
It's nice but hampered a bit by a cell phone OS (Android version 2.2).
Other Android tablets
For use as a Wifi based browser the Advent Vega tablet from Dixons (UK
only I think) seems to have got good value for money reviews

That is the on I was looking at. The techies on the Overclockers Forum
like it.
You're adding to your requirements which will always blow budgets. VPN
tends to be a bit corporate and increases price (e.g. Cisco cius)
Android 3 is a bit off - next release is 2.3.
You may better off waiting for the Windows tablet.

Not in any hurry. My 12 Samsung laptop does all I need.
And I wonder what Goggle OS Tablets might do

If you have a Google Mail account, download/install the Chrome
browser.
Open Chrome and sign-on to GMail. This is what a Google OS tablet looks
like.
