I tried a different take on this, casting the web interface, in this case the Now Playing of the Material skin, to the Google Nest Hub. The word to note here is the "casting" bit, my home automation controller (Homey) allows me to cast a web page to a specific Chromecast player, but I'm sure

Craig has now added an option to start the Material skin into a Now Playing screen. This will work on any html5 compliant browser so some Smart TVs will support it as well as any recent iOS or Android tablet and Windows, Mac or Linux (with GUI) PC Install Material to LMS and then call

Back to the Browser based "nowPlaying". A few years ago an addition was done for a Remote Now Playing display ona say a Smart TV (ie. just a browser page which display covert art and artist info) . Many variations were posted earlier in the thread - can be tested now with no additional h/w

Perhaps its already past through the forum, then please point me in the right direction :) Since a short time the owner of a very nice transporter and after replacing a bit dodgy display power supply repair i'm now really using it. Only thing thats missing is a nice display with album art
