Sounds like you need to order a new remote PDQ! Note that many
multi-purpose remotes will work fine, you'd need to check that they
have a code listed for the SB as you obviously won't be able to learn
from your slim one.

The thing is, Browse Music Folder doesn't use the tag database, it only
goes on the file name. So it really shouldn't matter what's in the db.
Can you get to the tracks using the conventional methods (browse
artist, search etc?).

attention to pre-existing playlists but now I've got rid of them, I
can't find anything but the correct paths in the database.

-Before you do anything else, connect the AC adaptor to your chumby and
plug it in. Your chumby does have a battery for temporary loss of AC
power, but if you run the chumby off the battery alone you might get an
hour out of it before you're looking at a blank, lifeless

No I could not get to all the tracks via album or artist.
So I did the following:
pointed server to empty directory
full rescan
was able to browse to all folders
after I have reset the music folder to proper directory and rerun scan,
browse folders did pick up the folder I had a problem
I bought a Pocket PC* specifically to remotely control my Squeezebox
3's running 6.3. The server PC is running XP Service Pack 2.
I've been testing the Telcanto interface and running into a problem.
When I try to look at Artists or Albums in Library, it usually gives
me an OutofMemoryException
