I am probably missing something here and it would not be the first time.
What is the reason for converting MP3 to FLAC ? Once a file has been
converted to a lossy format, converting it to a lossless format would
not improve sound quality and just increase file size.

the settings and the only thing I can find is a
mode setting w choices of 54,154 and 300mps. I am currently at 154. If

If you do not find something that works for you downgrading to 7.5.4 to
use ACC and print out what you want and then upgrade to what you now
have is a path you could take. A hassle I am sure just depends on how
important this is to you and what features you want.

From the Web Remote Control go to Settings on the bottom right. This
brings up the same screen as Advanced Settings from the LMS Control
Panel. What settings may be available w Power Save I do not know as I
do not use it.

I can remember going to see similar pcs of computer equipment when a

I do like the concept you mentioned of having a squeeezebox-type product
built right into an AV Receiver.

of us. Many assume that canned programs like WMP will do what we want
and then find out that it is not the case. I would also suggest using
Winamp as a pc based audio player.

my PC. I could look at things such as an album showing 2x or a genre tag

How are you running LMS on a PC/Mac w or wo a Nas ? Were the players
connected to mysqueezebox.com or local music ? My initial thought is
that you had a network issue causing the hardware to lose contact w LMS.

No, it's a menu item under My Music. W the LMS Control panel click on

After reading one of the updated threads here this morning I decided to
look at some of my settings. From the LMS Control Panel I clicked on the
Advanced tab and then on Web Remote Control. What I acheived was a
blank screen. I then returned to the LMS Control Panel and found the
following;
I run CC Cleaner 1x or more a wk so I doubt it was a cache issue.
Actually ran it yesterday and there was very little to delete. If it
happens again I will take a look to see if anything else is trying to
use port 9000.
