I use it in combination with my Synology NAS. There is no difference indelay between the official Lms app and orange. i lke it better then the lms app. Most of all the maintenance option. With the latest version the UI has improved big time.

If you have a Buffalo Linkstation you proberbly has 64 mb memory, that's not much. I would say it is to little. Transcoding is out of the question. I have a Synology DS110J, 128 mb and transcoding is not possible. So be sure no other processes are running when playing around with LMS. What

That would trigger transcoding on your nas. Something you don't want according to bpa. IMO, the best option here would be to find the CD's where gapless playback is wanted. Convert these files to FLAC. This way your nas doesn't have to do any transcoding, and FLAC is supported natively by all
