I've gone into my custom-convert.conf file and swapped the lines for the
Linux version but I'm still having trouble selecting mplayer in the
settings.
I'm guessing there's more I need to do than simply changing these?

I've tried playing a certain IceCast stream, too, and it takes about 10
seconds to buffer up, whereas on Winamp, it plays straight away.

The station doesn't support streaming over HTTP - MMS only, something
the Squeezebox is unable to play natively.
There are workarounds if you're running SqueezeCenter, but not on
SqueezeNetwork.

If it helps, the higher bitrate stream plays louder than the lower
bitrate stream.
You can probably bring up the bouncing bars to determine which is
louder. As far as I'm aware, More Radio - BBC still has the lower

Just had to perform a factory reset on my Sky broadband router and now
I've lost access to radio streams in WMA format. The status becomes

OK, I've managed a bit more testing and have found that the following
entries in the list are hidden:
Slot 2, Slot 13, Slot 24, Slot 36 (not 35, as you might expect if you
follow the sequence).
I've reordered some items to prove this and they hide and reappear when
dragged in and out of those
I've just dug out my old iPod to try it on iPeng and the problem doesn't
manifest itself there.
So it seems to be a problem with the Squeezebox app itself.
I've also tried clearing the data and the cache from the app to start
afresh. No good.

Such examples (through the RadioFeeds plugin, at least) are:

I think it's a problem with the server. They show OK if I host them
elsewhere.
It's strange, because the server happily serves for my Android pages
hosted at my own domain.
If anything, you'd think it'd be the other way round, i.e. refuse to
serve if the referrer is from elsewhere.

The following logo is supposed to load for Nevis Radio:

I'll have a little experiment with JPGs. I'm not the biggest fan of

OK, the logos now work for Virgin Radio.
It seems that any stream address entry with "#slim:noscan=1" inside MAY
suppress the logo. I
The RadioFeeds UK & Ireland radio directory now includes station logos
where available. Not any old logos.. official logos, as provided by the
stations themselves, through the use of RadioDNS's "Project Logo".
So these will be high-res artwork rather than dodgy JPEG regrabs from
Twitter or some

Getting somewhere. It turns out the Central FM logo was getting blocked
because of the firewall blocking USER-AGENT Squeezenetwork.
After requesting for a server reconfig it's now working.
I suspect the same thing is happening with Nevis.
