Johnny, Flex Builder is actually based on Eclipse and you can install the Eclipse plugin version if you already have Eclipse. Downloading and installing either the full or plugin version should give you everything you need to get started, including the Flex SDK. The trial version of the IDE is

Most open source I've run across is more at the component level and doesn't include complete 'high level' structures for performing specified tasks. That being said, I do know that flexlib has a few components that you might find useful like the scheduling framework (flexlib.scheduling):

We are mainly looking for the few pieces of MS Project that users utilize the most. Task/Milestone management including linkages, Gantt charting, Resource allocation and leveling. We did look at AgileAgenda but as you said it's not open source. Thanks for you input. I'll probably end up
