All the kernel symlinks on the pc point to /lib rather than /usr/lib eg:

AFAIK you can use any name you like in
/etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules (provided they don't
conflict). E.G. nic0, nic1, etc. Which would avoid conflicts and provide
definitive names.

sha256sum --check SHA256SUMS
That will output a check for each checksum in that file, so you will get
a lot of "file not found" messages. Look for the one for your downloaded

funny, have you tried switching the camera off then on again whilst
it is connected to your pc. Then Camera/Add camera, auto-detect.

I'd go so far as to say Funtoo is only for technically proficient
people, and unlike *buntu, Debian, Devuan
that it works.
