Several newly updated WG 7.1 chapters are now in the WiP folder on
NextCloud, ready for review. Some have only minor changes from v6.4 -
mostly new screenshots - so one review would probably be enough.
Do try to spot anything I’ve missed!

I had started earlier this year on updating the Writer Guide from v6.4

Reading discussions on this list, I wonder if I should return to
working on v7.0 first? I don't mind either way.
What do people think?

Olivier,
When I open the GS7 cover PDF within NextCloud, it looks correct, but
when I download the file to my Mac and open it in Preview (the most
common way Mac users open PDFs, AFAIK), most of the contents are not
visible. I have never seen this happen before!
It does open, but very slowly, in

I have updated seven chapters of the Getting Started Guide to 7.0 and
uploaded them to NextCloud. I have updated the status spreadsheet for
the book. All chapters have the v7 template applied. I found very few
changes to be necessary in the text, so I have used Track Changes to
show what I did.

My personal preference is to keep the former green headings. I changed them
to black because several of us objected to the idea of different colour
headings for different books.
I was primarily focusing on functional aspects of the template, not
appearance.
I agree with Olivier that we need to

Olivier,
I notice that the links from
https://documentation.libreoffice.org/en/english-documentation/
to the 6.4 user guides go directly to the PDFs on NextCloud.
I can find no indication on that web page that the print copies exist
or how to get them.
Is this an oversight, or is it deliberate?
I've finally succeeded in publishing the print edition of the Writer
Guide 6.4. It's available here:

Olivier, please note this on the website. I have added the link to the
wiki
Yes, it’s a manual (direct) formatting problem, explained in more detail in
another note.

Dan, Peter is saying that the italics show up in the *ToC* after a heading
is edited. See also my other note on this thread. - Jean

This occurs in some earlier version of files, including ones you have
updated for Draw using a template for LOv6. As a bonus. If I change the
colour of the H3 style (and possibly other styles), some words remain in
green as well as showing up as italic in the ToC. If I select those words
