[libreoffice-documentation] Sophie's wiki article on menu changes
I have partly translated this. You can find the translation at https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Comparaison_des_menus_entre_LO_4.4.7.2_et_LO_5.1.0.2 Unfortunately the latest version of LO that I have is 5.0 and there seems to have been a lot of reorganisation carried out between 5.0 and 5.1 despite it being only a "minor release". So, as menu entries need to be given literally and exactly, I have translated only those that occur in the menus of LO 5.0 (which is most of them I think); the rest are still in the original French. -- H Russman -- To unsubscribe e-mail to: documentation+unsubscr...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/documentation/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted

I wouldn't normally bother the list with an off-topic post, but I have just spent a fruitless half hour trying and failing to navigate the LibreOffice bug site. [libreoffice-documentation] Something strange happened...
I've mostly been translating Robert's additions to the Base Handbook using LO v.5 in Crux. I needed a late version so that I could check the correct English for some of the prompts and options he mentions. This morning I happened to open a file that I'd been working on in Debian Wheezy, which still uses LO v.4. It opened in Writer as a completely blank single page! The content was gone. I have now completed this final section of the FAQ. Most of the articles are fresh translations from the French and will have to be checked for accuracy. I have been using LO3.5.4 for the necessary experiments: LO4 might be different. Some of the articles have screenshots and some have links to French HOWTOs in odt format.
