I think you're looking at the wrong side of the switch's use. The most
important part of this particular switch is the ability to isolate the
magneto from the ground when the engine is running, because we want the

Hi all. I have been following this track. For what it is worth if looking for
a replacement switch, grounding the Mag is an inductive load, so using a double
pole switch with both contacts in series doubles the air gap (voltage rating)
Using the recommended switch though is the best idea
