Hi!
Would someone be so kind as to tell me how to
get Search results windows in Internet Explorer v6.0 to open up to full screen?
I find it kind of annoying to have to always resize the window that opens up
after I type something into DQSD. Thanks in advance for your help.

Guys,
DQSD is difficult to install. There are a lot of reports of problems, and
as far as I can see, they're nearly always caused by a failure to get the
right version of the ActiveX DLL installed and registered. There's a
whole performance of logout/login which is difficult to get
4. How does the installer actually handle installations to locked
files? Does it do something like a SetupInstallFileEx
which means that a reboot is really required? I see that the
script is supposed to warn that the file's not been unloaded,
but I've never actually seen that warning

The problem is that even if it is, you can be in a
situation where you have an old DLL loaded but with
new script running.
Yeah and this certainly seems to be the cause of the majority of the
errors being reported.. But my belief is that if the new DLL has a

Will,
Thanks for initiating this discussion. It's been due for a while. My

It might well be that the installer ought to insist (well, nearly) on this
in certain circumstances.
I'd agree with that. I'm sure that NSIS probably has script code to suggest
and initiate a reboot as a final step in the install.

Agreed. Largely my fault I'm afraid.
Well, you've added a new class, but I've added several methods to the
existing ones, so I reckon we're about equal here
Have you had success with this? My experience has been a maintenance
nightmare. Not to say

Glenn Dan,
Thank you very much for your suggestions. I tried the regsvr32 command,
and in doing so, I realized that I did not have ANY dqsd dll file in the
install directory (who knows how that happened). So anyway, I closed the
toolbar, logged off/on, uninstalled the toolbar, logged off/on,
Hello, everyone!
I am so happy now that my deskbar is working again! So of course I now
have to make some suggestions:
- Is it possible to make all searches open in a maximized browser
window? Someone else mentioned this earlier today, but I wanted to say
that I am also highly in favour of

i'm guessing that the line

is in your alias.txt file. remove this line and the problem you mention
below should disappear.
you will have to do this step every time you upgrade to a new version
because a new standard alias.txt will get written every time you run an
