One think I would like to suggest to be added to the FAQ is that an alias must be defined before it can be referenced from another alias. For example these two lines in the localaliases.txt file will show two shortcuts in the helpbox: dqsdcvs|http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/dqsd/

Did you try what I suggested in my previous post?   Did you look at the associated filetypes on your box to see if they are correctly set to Opera? Is launchmode set to 1 or 2 in preferences.js/localprefs.js ?  I can almost guarantee you the problem is that the proper file associations

I should have made the message below more clear.  The only time I get this error message is when I try to plug search times into the search bar with no control character in front--which, as I understand it, should mean that Google is automatically searched.   When I plug in the same search terms,
