T4 is getting there...have the new AC-4R board kit on the AC3 unit and now
when I turn on the rig at least I don't hear the transformer windings bang on.
Board was easy. I had to scrounge a bit for the correct color wires with
the new no wire kit but I did and it

The 6GJ5's will work fine on 10M. Try and get Sylvania, Zenith, RCA or
GE brands if possible, and best if all three are the same.

Not having a top is not a critical fault. Obviously you don't stick
your fingers in there, and it is adequately protected when the cabinet
top

I am guessing that with the AC4 board, your AC3 no longer has the test
point that mine did (if your had it at all). On some of the AC3s, there
is a

Hi Ron,
The only test point indicated was on the high voltage output on my AC3, with
nil to lift.
After you install the board kit you will have three test points for HI, Lo,
and Bias.
