Hi Sue, Unfortunately I suspect that this issue would be best dealt with on a Ubuntu forum. The LiveCD is now almost a year old, so isn't the most up to date version of Ubuntu. It may be possible to upgrade network drivers on a LiveCD, but these would be lost each time you rebooted. We're

Hi Sue, Lucene (the search system used by DSpace) is 'stemming' the words (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stemming http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stemming ). It indexes the stem of the word (in this case propel) so that it can find similar words (engine will find engines etc). Thanks,
