In Japan, we use four-letter tags like: EB43, FJ12, IKDD. The first two letters are abbreviation of location like EB=Ebina, FJ=Fujisawa, IK=Ikoma, and the rest of two indicate modules. You can find these in the Japanese repeater list http://www.d-star.jp/D-STARjapan.pdf. 73, -- JI1BQW - Kay

confused with CQCQCQ in GRP CQ which does not allow you to set RPT2. When you have selected CQCQCQ in the GRP UR, and long press CS, turn the knob until it shows RPT2. You will see your gateway set to the RPT2. If you selected CQCQCQ in the GRP CQ, it does not show RPT2. 73, -- JI1BQW - Kay
