Please let NMASTER stay. I don't use it often, but it's definitely
useful.

I had also this problem, but when you configure them to qwer intead of
6789 it is more comfortable ( e.g Alt+q for the mail view )

Ignore this, please. I was going to ask, whether vim-style splitting of
windows was possible in screen, but I already found out that it is possible
(which is very good).

Hi,
it is true, that I use dwm tiled layout only for handling my terminals.
Everywhere else it doesn't feel good, so I usually use either floating mode
or else just one client per tag.
Now, you guys made me interested in screen and if I switch to it for console
handling, I won't need the tile layo

Hi,
I use nmaster quite often, because I want to switch between this two setups:
a) one master + several programs in the stack
b) two masters
Another thing that this shows is that ratios are needless to me. I just need
to be able to resize horizontally in a) and vertically in b) option,

Actually, i do use NMASTER for file sorting occasionally but with the
master windows

i use it quite a bit - 3 x 2 or similar count between master and right stacks
fits pretty well compard to 1x5 or similar..
the ratio stuff definitely feels weird though

As to the ratio -- I'm still not sure. As to nmaster, yes, it

I end
I also think the ratio thing is not a good idea (at least for main
dwm). About nmaster, imo you can remove it. I'm making more tests with
bwm and 0.2 will let you having several master clients and change
between them like you change layers now, i'm still thinking about it
but if somebody wants this
I dislike {H|V}ratio, but I think NMASTER is a good option. I use it
once in a while.

Hi, i have finally patched my dwm with the latests mercurial

Since the old behaviour can now be easily restored, I have nothing to
complain further.
Thanks

Hi there,
I pushed a my new tile() algorithm to hg tip. It now supports
two distinct ratios, a vertical and a horizontal.
Each ratio is manipulated using the inc{v,h}ratio() functions.
See config.arg.h how I like the ratios change in a combined way,
and config.default.h only changes the horizont
