This stn turned up on 30 meters the other day.
Does somebody know where to apply for a QSL ?

I think of more importance to those of us on my side of the pond is the
preponderance of operators from Europe who may have a different focus than east
coast and central North America, arguably the most challenging location for VU4

If I recall, 14195 became the DX frequency because it was a place
where DX stations could TX but that Americans could not (US
privileges started at 14200 for the longest time). Maybe it's time to
revive that tradition and make 14145 the new default DX frequency on

You hear a lot of interesting things on 30. There is often a RTTY station
on 10101.0 that sends long transmissions. I don't believe it's an amateur
station.
That is a German Met-station sending WX-reports.

You are above average on sensitivity to other people's situation. It
probably comes from your experience from foreign lands.
Unfortunately the great majority of DX-ers has not travelled and learned as
much as you have. Therefore I believe it to be wishful thinking

I sure wish DX'ing was the way it was back in the 60's and 70's

I wonder if FT5XO folks are using amplifiers on 20-10m?
Yesterday they've been around the noise level on Paragon and SOMMER XP8 on

A question for all What does the DX community think about a rare DX
