Re: [DX-CHAT] DX who QSL or not
Hello dx-chat, CH> I firmly believe that no one OWES me a card. Yes they do. When someone makes a QSO, he does it for his own thrill, joy, pleasure, interest, ego, whatever. And QSO confirmation is a part of that process, so when he makes YOU to pay for HIS part of QSO confirmation (QSL-exchange, in our case), that is NOT fair. -- 73...Art RX9TX http://rx9tx.qrz.ru Subscribe/unsubscribe, feedback, FAQ, problems http://njdxa.org/dx-chat To post a message, DX related items only, dx-chat@njdxa.org This is the DX-CHAT reflector sponsored by the NJDXA http://njdxa.org

4O3Tcard received Monday via N7CQQ for #351. That problem appears to be working itself out. Re: [DX-CHAT] DX who QSL or not
I firmly believe that no one OWES me a card. I agree, except for hams who go on DXpeditions with the intent of having other hams work a new one, and receiving cards and contributions to that end. I've never been stiffed on a DXpedition, but I'm really starting to wonder about 4O3T. Yes, I resent to N7CQQ on Feb 10 and expect my cards in the near future. [DX-CHAT] DX who QSL or not
After visiting several DX ops, I am coming to see another side of the "where is MY QSL?" issue. Some POSSIBLE reactions: 1. oh here is another American who wants something from the third world, and he wants it NOW. 2. ham radio is not my job. 3. I'll get around to it later. 4. maybe the postal guys stole it, or lost it, or ... 5. in the great scheme of things, a qsl is very small. 6. I really want to help, but there are so many other things to do. 7. I got the card and mailed mine back, but the USA guy forgot to put "USA" on his return envelop, or maybe included none, or maybe I could not read his writing, or. I firmly believe that no one OWES me a card. Charles Harpole HS0ZCW [EMAIL PROTECTED] _ Find what you need at prices youll love. Tom, When you are at the main screen, click on sign up for Paypal, then click on UK in the location dropdown box (Banaba and Benin aren't listed :.) ) and it should take to to a page with the appropriate fields. 73, Barry W2UP Tom Wylie wrote: How does a European donate via Paypal. Re: [DX-CHAT] V51AS
I have a 100 percent return rate from V51AS because I follow a few simple guidelines laid out below. In any case, apparently he now has a QSL drop in Germany. My guess is Tony T77C also. He's been active lately. Re: [DX-CHAT] V51AS
QSL V51AS ---> The new QSL route [425DXN 823] should be all right effective 10 March. Send your cards to Frank Steinhauser, Schlossstr. 68A, 82140 Olching, Germany and be prepared to wait a bit: this is not a QSL manager, so it may be up to four months before you will hear back from Frank, but it is a reliable route.
