DX4WIN doesn't write anything to the registry - it should work just fine.

K3LP is operating right now on 40m SSB. His rate could easily double if ONLY
the station he went back to responded. Instead, dozens of people keep calling
on the same frequency, preventing him from completing the QSO.
Nothing new, but still sad.

So how does the ARRL determine whether a license was issued by the proper

I heard USB the other night around 10.110, and some Swede replied that SSB is
legal on 30m there. However, the QSO sounded much more Spanish than Swedish!

I don't believe DX is allowed to transmit CW above 7100. Furthermore, the FCC
limits USA stations to 200W output above 7100.

Jim, it might not have been someone using your call, but rather someone whose
call was close (like N4JR) who was logged incorrectly as N4JA.

For a while this year, R1ANF on S. Shetlands was on 40 meter CW just about
every night. Check the spots on DX summit.

The Daily DX has had an "exclusive" on this story since it was published a
couple of weeks ago. I assume that Bernie W3UR or the author will publish the
information "to the world" shortly. In the mean time, speculation is just
that.

Someone may want to organize a registered group mailing to Joca.
Try asking the [EMAIL PROTECTED] reflector, I think there was a similar
discussion there a week ago.

costs to send cards out. The last time I saw anything on this, a pound of QSL's was $4.00. Is this the price now? Answer me direct. Jim [EMAIL PROTECTED]--Jim

only 1 or 2 ding dongs to create havoc...
Packet is also part of the problem. It sends everyone to work the same DX
station at the same time. When you put that many people in a room together,
tempers are bound to flare up.

Jim Reisert AD1C, 7 Charlemont Court, North Chelmsford,
the pileup
was immense, and I believe some of your continent-men were calling
despite the pleas for North America only. The combination of the two
did NOT result in a high rate for Bernie, but he tried. I think he
went to 20 SSB shortly afterward.
