However, some EZ operators get on the air with their old (or possibly a made up call?) from time to time. Some even reportedly provide QSLs. This suggests the ban is not strictly enforced. This may change as Turkmenistan Hams are trying to get Ham radio re-instated. Nope, sorry. EZ has been QRT for a few years now. The Turkmenistan government hasn't issued licenses for a long time and appears to have no plans to do so in the near future. I haven't heard anything at all within the last year.
