Greetings, Many thanks to all who responded. Gene, N7YW, had a simple solution. First, change the SET MODE command in the ICOM 746.rig file from 0600FD to 060002FD. Like I said in earlier posts this forces the IC-746 to select the appropriate mode with a narrow (actually medium) filter. The
