Lets hope that all the various abnormalities within 6.02 and for that matter
were in Ver5 are addressed before worrying about adding to the programme
capabilities.
Like having the frequency logged for each Q in its own window, setting the
80m band to read 3.5mhz not near the top of the band at 3.7
Although not a particular RTTY aficionado, it still seems (to me) a pity an
MMTTY interface is *not* planned for the new release, but we have to wait

Yes, I will be changing programs soon if we can't get RTTY and the other
fix's changes mentioned, 2 years between updates is way to long!

I'm not so sure I'd class these as
Wasn't there a discussion on this a year or so ago and it dealt with money.
As I recall the developer of MMTTY said it was free to use but not to charge
for. As you know we pay for DX4WIN so figure that means we would be paying
for MMTTY if it was integrated into DX4WIN.
I also would sure like
Change the window colors, Joe. I do so every few months. They are mainly
dependant upon your Windows desktop color scheme selection. 73, -=Rog-K9RB=-
Main problem I have, created by version 6, is the hassle of going to

Roger,
I don't understand...
The other thing is that 3 digits are the default for report boxes regardless
of mode. This should be mode/band dependent, especially for SSB on HF, where
I constantly have to go and correct the rstS from 595 back to 59. Two years
and I haven't gotten used to this
The default is fine, BUT if you wish to change the report to something other
than 59, you have to hit the tab key after the second digit is entered,
otherwise, for example a rstS 57, rstR 58 would become rstS 575 rstR 8 and
then you have to start the report sequence over again, using the tab key

The SPACE key works fine here too.

May I suggest that SSTV users would prefer the RST to default to 595 when a
report is automatically inserted. Making the RST mode dependent would be a
nice feature.

I find it amazing that all these ideas come up AFTER Paul says he is ready
to go to Beta with the new release. I hope no one's feelings are hurt if
their pet ideas don't show up until the following release.

There is still a problem with the spots
I use the dx4win's database
When i have a new band spot and the mode of the spot is unconfirmed,
dx4win paints the spot with the colour of no4 priority and not no3.
Ex. I saw 3b9c on 80m rtty. I have not confirmed 3b9 in rtty and i have not
worked a 3b9
I've been suggesting them here, and on the DX4WIN web site for a year or
two - I'm sure others have done the same thing.

If you haven't run into the problem, you must use always just the default
reports on SSB I guess. If you enter a callsign in the log and wish to give
an honest report of 57 and he gives you a 58 in return, you tab over to the
rstS box and enter 57, then when you would expect it to move to the next

There is also a difference between the two programs ... one is a General

I must agree about MMTTY. I operate 99% RTTY and much like MMTTY.

I have DX4WIN set up with the default setting for DXCC bands allowed for
