if I click on Radio Stop or Radio Start my WinXP PC crashes and the
Blue Screen indicates the file ks.sys as the culprit. I have tried various

When New Brunswick changed over to VE9, I changed
my call from ve1adz to ve9ts. I have some old paper
logs and some older log program with some entries.
These are all under my old call-sign. They date from
like 1988 to 1992. I also moved from one

I have a situation like yours ... several calls and locations
spanning 52 years. I've put the QSO's into DX4WIN
and made a notation in the Notes for this QSO that
covers my situation at the time ... WA4HAA @ home,
or W5TKI/KZ5, or K0PP/7 @ Newport, etc. I can
then do a sort based on

You can keep on crediting new countries worked under your new callsign
to the old DXCC award.
You have not changed country, so no need to restart... unless it is YOUR
decision to start all over again with your new call.
As for DX4Win, there are several options to deal with this
Each of us will have different standards to hold ourselves
to. In my case I'd consider a move across town to be
the same QTH and wouldn't start over, but a new call
would be a complete restart on everything. The Notes
for this QSO is where I enter the QSO's town info, BTW.
I don't count contest
I'd like to divide my log into groups corresponding
to old calls and locations. Unfortunately, the
instructions for doing this are very vague and
confusing. I'm at my wits end trying! Has anyone
successfully done this that can walk me through the
procedure?

Remember the USS
I finally figured out how to get it to do what I wanted
(with a little help from friends)! The procedure bears
absolutely no relation to the prededure given in the
manual or help file!
I used the SEARCH function under FILTERS to set a date
range. Then using MULTIPLE QSO OPERATIONS under QSO, I
Under QSO, select Contest Mode and put $$ in the Text to add to
Note field. You do not have to have contest mode enabled for that to work.
