This radio 'stuff' is easy to try; especially when you have the radio connected to your computer. The .rig file is a fairly simple text file that is interpreted by the DX4WIN program. Look at the rig file for the Yaesu ft-1000D; there we set the A VFO (mode, frequency split etc) Copy from A to B,
