No. D4W requires polling and 1ms is impossible... an Icom radio cannot
respond that quickly. About 500ms - 1000 ms seems to be ideal for most
Icoms. Older radios should be even slower. Also I notice that there are
issues with invalid data being picked up by the band-map if C-IV

The radio shouldn't have anything to do with the updating of the bandmap.
It all comes from the cluster connection.
I have a PC in my office, no radio, bandmap works fine. Keeps me
updated on that pesky DX!

Hi Dennis, Jim all;
I raised this point a while ago (again!!); and am happily hooked up top AR

I cannot see any big human energy savings if it is done automatically.
And then it will be much more difficult to choose another cluster.

Milos,
I think (I'm guessing) that it has to do with the number notation.
When you start a filter, and do not want to enter a value for the
frequency, the field shows up as 0.0 and is therefore ignored. This also
means you cannot search for the value 0.0 either, but that is another
problem.

Or you can wait doing this until I come up with a smarter algorithm!

One workaround could be to integrate the VE7CC module into DX4Win ?
