as to separate my log for 6 different calls.
I have be able to do this, however they disappear after leaving

For the last couple of years, I've been using SyncBackSE (
http://www.2brightsparks.com/ ) to synchronize my DX4WIN data between
two computers. I recently switched to SugarSync:

SugarSync gives you 2 GB of free storage in the cloud'. Like
SyncBackSE, it backs up
I have released version 4.3 of the DX4WIN Data Updater:

If you run the current updater (4.2), it will prompt you to download
and install the new version. After the program exits, you must copy
DX4WUPD.EXE from the UPDATE directory to the directory that contains
Why do I always leave something out?
You still have to import the calendar after the importer downloads it. See:

Hugh, groups are
Under Preferences set Setup - QSO - Group to the group you want D4W to
begin with. I used groups 00-17 for my previous call sign. I use
groups 20+ for my new call sign. By defaulting QSO-Group to 20 (which
is my new all QSOs group), I default to the correct group.

That works? I thought that was just to set the group number for all
new/imported QSOs. I did not know that DX4WIN would open to that group
No, that does not work. I just tried it. I sure wish that Paul would make
it an option to open the log so that the default group number is
automatically selected as the filter. The log currently opens to all qsos,
and I have to change it to my default group every time that I open the
I guess I've been using this feature without realizing it: When adding

entered.* Sorry for the mistake.

Roger,
Undo the Invalid
Change the rstR to 0 (zero)
This way the QSO is in the log but will be ignored for awards etc.

I restart DX4WIN in a group other than 0. I have set the default group in
FILE/PREFERENCES/QSO (in my case 2) and that is the default of each start-up of
DX4WIN. Worked OK in V8.04 and works OK in V8.05.
