Converting writelog adif is not straightforward as it should be. For the 10
meter contest, I had to add a new import filter to get the state in the
correct place, the exchange in the recvd block and the frequency in the
comments. Seems like that is true for every contest log.

Ron,
I don't have a laptop but am running the Byterunner USB to 4 port serial
converter and it works great! However, I am using one of the original COM
ports to do CW, PTT, and FSK keying. Have not tried to use one of the
USB/Serial ports for that function.

I was having brain fade, Ron -- embarrassing mental mistake, but not that
one. No bug.

Tried to do a search in 5.01 just now for D90CCKD, which was a weird HL
special call. DX4WIN didn't find it, but when I accessed it by date, there
it was with the prefix properly attached. I'm wondering if maybe the
format violated some rule in the search routine (I use exact searching).

I changed the directory for DX4Win and noticed the program was not working
correctly
so I re-installed into the same directory ignoring the warning not to do that.
My .IEP, .CTY and one other DX4Win.??? file was reset to the original default.
I copied over those files from a fairly recent backup
I have a couple of logs from last fall that I need to move into DX4win. Any
recommendation on best utility to convert SS & ARRL 10 Meter from WL to
DX4WIN.
Or is ADIF by it's self the best method???

I downloaded 2 slashed zero fonts, one from K4NR and one from K9YY. Which
one do I want to use? Do I need to install it in Windows/Font and into the
HP printer/font folders? Will it print slashed zero fonts on my lables?
Guess you can tell I'm lost! I just don't want to fool around and lose

HI,
I have installed my KENWOOD TS-2000 with DX4WIN,

DX4WIN responds this "bad frequency for radio."
Some solution??
Thank you.

Yes, it has to be installed through windows. I have never installed any
fonts into an HP file & my HP printer prints them fine. I personally prefer
the Andale Mono slashed font and use it in many places, including my labels
& other reports.

The .rig file originally published for the TS-2000 had 2 errors in it.
Someone published the corrections a few months ago, which cleared most =

probably
your next step. I've attached the corrected file. Hope this helps.
