This works great, especially if you leave the :2 after
the word state. :) Interesting thing, on the import
DX4WIN also puts the Name in the 1st Notes for QSO and
the Freq and QSO # in the 2nd Notes for QSO fields.
... I just used WordPad and the 'replace' function.
Tnx Alan

Part of the confusion is that full path names *DO* work for RAC data, but
not QRZ data.
I must admit I can se how it can be confusing. Basically the directory
needs to be on the root directory of the drive. The last line
C:\RAC2000 gives the clue.
I shouldn't have butted in, must be in a tisky mood this morning.

Just as a follow-up, for those not wanting to actually place the QRZ
'CALLBK' directory in the root of their hard drive, a shortcut placed in
the root that points to the actual 'CALLBK' directory works fine, too.

It has been this way for as long as I have been using DX4WIN, about 5
years. If you read the manual it says what to do. Hell I could work
this out. Permanent fix? How can you fix something that isn't broken.

Yes Ernie has it. What he says is how I have always organized it and it
works. Case of RTFM I think.

This might work for you.
I have my 'summer 2005' cd data copied to my local hard drive, C:, and it
works. The catch is that all the CD call data is in a directory called
"callbk" (on the root of C). I copied only the contents of that directory
from the CD to the hard drive. I didn't copy th

I tried sending you a program called wl2dx4win.exe but the return
address was rejected. Do a search on the web for the program. It gets
the states into the ADIF file for loading into dx4win. The program is
self explanatory. Email me if you have problems.

I just noticed that State is not being imported properly. It is
showing up in QSO notes instead of the State. I have been importing
my ADIF files from Writelog and all else appears to be ok.
Can I fix this for the future? Can I reload and just update the state?
