Re: [Dx4win] Frustrated with RTTY cluster spots and Flex 5000
Mark, Not having access to that radio, I can only speculate if the following will work for you: 1. File | Databases | Radios 2. Select your radio 3. Select values tab 4. In Mode values, select RTTY 5. Observe values 6 and 9 for the mode value; the 9 has a check box that says prefer; check that box 6. [Dx4win] Cluster/BandMap with both Telnet and Remote Connections
Hi,Is there a way to merge both Local Telnet spots coming from CW Skimmer and spots coming from remote Clusters? While listening on one band and having the CW Skimmer spots, it would be fine to have other bands populated with spots from remote Clusters. 73, Radi F6GNZ __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
Re: [Dx4win] DX4WIN.CTY country file Release #153 - 16 February 2016
IMPORTANT! I made a mistake in the release process this morning. After updating, please check the version of the country file you have by trying to log the callsign "VERSION" and then typing the TAB key or SPACE BAR. Check the "QSL Mgr" field. If it does not say: 16-Feb-2016 then you have the bad version of the country file. The QSL manager database wasn't updated. To fix this, navigate to your DX4W###\UPDATE directory (folder) and look for a file called: dx4win_cty.zip Simply remove this file, exit DX4WIN and run the DX4WIN Data Updater again. You should see some messages about the country file updating. Then when you start DX4WIN, try to log "VERSION" again and see if the correct date (shown above) is in the QSL Mgr field. Sorry for the trouble. The file was wrong for only about 15-20 minutes, so you may have missed the problem. 73 - Jim AD1C On Tue, Feb 16, 2016 at 7:58 AM, Jim Reisert AD1C wrote: > The DX4WIN country file, DX4WIN.CTY Release #153 is now available from: > > http://www.country-files.com/dx4win-info/ > > You can read the release notes at: > > http://www.country-files.com/dx4win-cty-153-16-February-2016/ > > You can (and should) use the DX4WIN Data Updater to update the file: > > http://dx4win.ad1c.us/updater/ > > Please inform me of any corrections. > > 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C, , http://www.ad1c.us __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
