Re: [Dx4win] DX Spots and Packet Windows
I had similar problem with ve7cc recently. I thought that he has a problem and changed to ae5e and seems ok. I didn't examine if I loose any spots but seems ok. I have checked to ignore grey spots, have you? I did it when the put ft8 spots in RBN. I unchecked ft8 and asked for grey spots to be ignored (file>preferences>packet1>Spots to ignore). Maybe some of the "lost" QSOs is really grey. ...73 de Kostas SV1DPI (One of SZ1A-EP6T) Στις 28/6/2018 3:04 πμ, ο Mike Parnin via DX4WIN έγραψε: I 'm running version 9.04 and all of a sudden my "DX Spots DXCC sorted by Arrival" and "Packet window" are only updating approximately every 5 to 10 minutes. In the Packet window if I do a SH/DX the " DX Spots" and Packet windows are updated to more current times. Changing my sort from Arrival to Time does not change the problem. The time in my QSO window does keep current time. I have also noticed that I am missing a lot of spots compared to spots outside of the DX4WIN program using other programs which are updating more frequently. I have never used the filter option. My clusters of preference are K1TTT and VE7CC. Please note that this problem just occurred and was working perfectly for months. Any suggestions would be helpful. Re: [Dx4win] Change C to *
> The only choices are: > > -- > S > C > I > > There is no * as a choice. C has two meanings. In the Award Flags, it means Checked (Approved). In the Reports, it means Confirmed. Paul had to use '*' in the Reports for Checked (Approved). Selecting 'C' in the Award Flags is what you want. And it's best to do it on the QSO that actually matches the ARRL Records in LoTW, if you can, simply to avoid confusion at a later date. -- Jim Reisert AD1C, , http://www.ad1c.us __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html

[Dx4win] IC-9100

[Dx4win] Lost Windows in version 9
From time to time, I have seen questions about "lost" windows in version 9. I found a general solution for this and I post it as a future reference (for me as well) Go to file>preferences and write your configuration file. Close the dx4win Go to dx4w903/save directory and rename config.dat to config_old.dat Edit with notepad (not with word) the file config.txt At the end of the file there are several sections with the first letter [W-XXX] and below something like Height=192 Left=300 Top=300 etc Find the window you are interesting, for example packet window is [W-PACK] Change the value of Left and Top to zero. example Left=0 Top=0 Save the config.txt Open dx4win Go to file>preferences and Load configuration file Choose dx4903/save/config.txt (the file you just saved) Now the window will open on the left-upper corner. Move it where you want and write again your config.txt as a backup for the future. Don't forget to open your own log again as dx4win loaded the Samplelog! If something that you don't like happens, close to dx4win and go to again in dx4w903/save directory and rename config_old.dat to config.dat -- ...73 de Kostas SV1DPI (One of SZ1A-EP6T) __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
