Re: [Dx4win] Ver. 9.03

2018-01-02 Thread Wes Printz W3SE / ZL3TE
Hi Andy,

If this is the same thing I ran into after my upgrade, The date field was not
wide enough (DD/MM/).
Under File | Preferences | Screen Tab
Screen Fonts / Scale
Change the Scale factor from 80 to 100.
Font size should be 9.

LoTW Export has not changed, the process remains the same.
I used FAX as my FT8 mode in V8, after importing my log to V9, I did a search
(F8)
for mode FAX, then in the Logging Window QSO | Multiple QSO operations | Set
mode to FT8
this changed all my FAX to FT8.

Hope this helps.

2018-01-02 Thread Kostas SV1DPI

QSO entry window

FILE>PREFERENCES>SCREEN tab
and make the scale factor 100% (maybe more if you need it)

FT8 QSOs

You can log ft8 qsos in version 9
If you have older qsos in ft8 but logged as a different mode then you
need to change this mode to ft8. You can use QSO>Multiple qso
operations>Set mode

for this  purpose.

I have not yet tried to do LoTW upload, has this been improved over the

Re: [Dx4win] Ver 9.03 Screen Tab/Visual Appearance

2017-12-28 Thread Paul van der Eijk
Greg,

Your observation is correct.

The software I used for this has a bug that annoyed a number of users,
including myself.
In version 8.05 you could hover the mouse over a menu and without a mouse
click select
a menu item. This showed up mostly with the 'Reports'.

[Dx4win] Ver 9.03 Screen Tab/Visual Appearance

2017-12-28 Thread GC
In 9.03, when I go to the SCREEN>TAB>Visual Appearance>OFFICE2003 - On all open
windows, the top bar of the window is white.  Compared to 8.05, the bar is blue
- see pics in links.  I am not seeing much difference in the visual appearance
regardless of what is selected BTW, I just have always used the OFFICE2003
option as the colors help it stand out on a busy screen.
Am I missing something within DX4WIN or do I need to look elsewhere?
