Re: [Dx4win] lotw question
I would go to Jim AD1C excellent website: https://dx4win.ad1c.us/appnotes/lotw.html and follow his instructions. There are slight differences between ver 9 and earlier versions but you should be able to figure it out. Other wise email me and I will put together a little checklist of how I do it. [Dx4win] LOTW question
I've just started using LOTW, so please forgive me if this is a stupid question. It dang sure wouldn't be my first. I see in the DX4WIN help (yes, I actually read it!) that I'm supposed to be able to track confirmed via LOTW and confirmed by actual card separately. Now, I know I can set the confirmed flag in the QSO window to use either confirmed via card, confirmed via upload, or confirmed via either one. Here's what I'm confused about. Even though a QSO might be confirmed via LOTW, I'd still like to get an actual card. How do I track those separately? Is there a way I could show that a QSO had been confirmed via LOTW but has not received an actual card yet? __ Dx4win mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Dx4win@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
[Dx4win] LoTW Question
Probably already answered, but the ones that show the country are the ones you have QSL's for. To see a QSL only view, choose the "See my QSL's" in stead of "See my QSO's". (the wording is similar to that - I forget the exact words.) 73, Duane On Wed, 27 Feb 2008 05:36:14 -0600 "Larry Burke" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes: > > I vaguely remember the following problem being discussed before, but > do not > recall the final resolution and can't seem to find the answer in > the > archives. > > I upload/download to LoTW a few times a year, so I am by no means a > power > user. If you select "Most Recent QSOs" you will see all contacts, both confirmed and unconfirmed, with the presence of the country name signifying those that are confirmed. As for VP6DX, I would give them some time. They uploaded over seven THOUSAND contacts in one batch and I think they overwhelmed the LOTW processor. All of my contacts with them are in the online VP6DX log, I contributed more than the minimum $$ they ask for priority LOTW submissions, yet none of my contacts show up on LOTW as confirmed. 73, Dick -- Dick Flanagan K7VC NV SM [EMAIL PROTECTED]

"Upl Cnf", if I understand it correctly, means that ithe uploaded QSO has been confirmed on LotW. LotW marks confirmed QSOs by putting the country name in the table. (You don't give an entity when uploading a QSO, you just provide your country. The other station tells LotW what entity their side of the QSO took place from. [Dx4win] LoTW Question
I vaguely remember the following problem being discussed before, but do not recall the final resolution and can't seem to find the answer in the archives. I upload/download to LoTW a few times a year, so I am by no means a power user. Today I noticed that, following an import of my confirmed QSOs from LoTW to DX4WIN, the only QSOs showing an "Upl Cnf" are those that also show a country in the final column of the LoTW table of confirmed QSOs on the website. I selected "Show Details" when performing the download. What did I do wrong? Larry Burke K5RK Brazoria County Texas
