[Dx4win] FT-9000 rig file

2008-05-19 Thread Kay Craigie
My OM has been using the FT-9000 rig file to control his FT-450. This setting allowed the program to read band/mode info correctly from the radio but would write only the band info. On Paul's suggestion we made one change in the rig file to see if that would correct this flaw. It didn't. When I

[Dx4win] Yaesu radio support in 7.04

2008-05-19 Thread Jim Reisert AD1C
Paul obtained a Yaesu FT-2000 and used the radio to debug the software. That radio should be fully functional in 7.04. For the FT-9000, please use this .rig file: Yaesu-FT9000-v3l.rig (I don't know why the old Yaesu-FT9000.rig file is still in the directory). Paul had to make some program

[Dx4win] ICOM IC-7700 radio support in DX4WIN

2008-05-19 Thread Jim Reisert AD1C
I think that the IC-7700 should work by using one of the IC-7800 .rig files and changing the HEX address code to match the IC-7700. Has anyone tried this? Are there are any problems/missing features? 73 - Jim AD1C -- Jim Reisert AD1C/Ø, [EMAIL PROTECTED], http://www.ad1c.us

Jim, It will be a while down the line, but I am guessing that after the 9000 is refitted so to speak, the current Rig file is not going to work anymore. This will be a few months down the line. 73 John EMAIL: [EMAIL PROTECTED] WEBPAGE: http://www.w9rpm.com/ AOL IM: W9RPM YAHOO: W9RPM -

For those of you upgrading, please refer to my upgrade notes: http://dx4win.ad1c.us/appnotes/upgrade.htm A common mistake is to NOT copy your preferences forward from the previous version to the new version. It's also a good idea to copy (not move) your logfile (call.DXL) from the old SAVE
