Jay, The 7300 can be set up to be controlled by both the USB port and the CI-V jack with two different programs at the same time. I run DX4WIN on my 7300 using the CI-V port. I also use WSJT-X on the USB port for audio and rig control. Once set up right, they work well together. The trick

You do have to stop the radio in DX4WIN if you run both programs together so the contest program can use the radio control. I also use N1MM+ then ADIF export and then import into DX4WIN. No program is going to log into DX4WIN so you are really just using DX4WIN for the cluster spots telling
