Re: [Dx4win] Z6
Hello Carol, In the newest country file, Jim put the start date on 21 Jan 2018. If you worked previous Z6 operations, they will not show as counting for credit. If you work one of the current stations, it will show for credit. When the official ruling comes out from Newington, if the start date is different, he will release a new country file with the correct start date. If the new start date is before the date of your QSOs, they will show as counting for credit. -- 73, Mike Cizek WØVTT -Original Message- From: dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net [mailto:dx4win-boun...@mailman.qth.net] On Behalf Of Carol Richards Sent: Tuesday, January 23, 2018 13:19 To: dx4win@mailman.qth.net Subject: [Dx4win] Z6 Hello, I just ran the help file in DX4WIN 9.XX Kosovo is now listed and it shows 340 possible countries. Re: [Dx4win] Z6
Carol, I'm pretty sure Jim made the effective date Jan. 21, 2018 and the ARRL has verified that - http://www.arrl.org/news/amendment-to-arrl-dxcc-rules-will-expand-dxcc-list - so only QSOs after that date will show as valid. My QSO with Z60A on Jan. 21 shows up properly. 73, Bud N7CW On Tue, Jan 23, 2018 at 12:19 PM, Carol Richards wrote: > Hello, > > I just ran the help file in DX4WIN 9.XX Kosovo is now listed and it shows > 340 possible countries. They can't "count as YU" as the YU authorities didn't issue their callsigns. Not to mention the little issue of using a callsign block that hasn't been assigned to them. I worked 'em. Shame it's not likely to count for anything. 73, -Rick -- Rick Murphy, CISSP-ISSAP, K1MU/4, Annandale VA USA __ DX4WIN mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/dx4win Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:DX4WIN@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
