I believe we can host it on sourceforge (I've seen another project that uses it).
It does have major advantages over the sf bug tracker in that you can track
bugs for different dynapi versions, as well as platforms and browsers. So
when a user post a bug, you will know what browser/system
Since the website is under our own control, there is no reason why a
separate notice board could be created for 2.9 announcements. Then it is
just a matter of linking from the main page instead of confusing the reader
with two sets of concurrent release notes.
Also, regarding the webspace off

I second the notion of using bugzilla..
and once again (no-one ever take me up on this...),
I can probably wrangle free hosting.
(I _am_ making a living with the oh-so-wonderful DynAPI after-all)

i've been playing around with the 2.9 release and especially
the library-loader is very cool. but in order to get the dynamic
loader to work in ie, I haved to change line #85 in library.js to
if (elm.C==2 || elm.readyState=="complete")
otherwise the fn-function never executes. i've testet it o
Richard, didn't you find a way to let doxygen parse
through the .js file directly to create the docs?
maybe we could head for to have all code not full
documented, but at least have all
