Hi,
The current gimkl/2.11.5 is a bit long in the tooth (gcc 4.9.3 based). If I
want to build a more modern gimkl, what would be the naming convention for
this? Most likely I would pick a gcc 6.3 (same as foss 2017a) and the Intel
contents from the intel 2017a toolchain.
Best wishes
Joach
My latest gimkl is gimkl-2016.11.eb which contains
GCC 6.2.0, ipmi and imkl 2017.1.132
So a gimkl based on foss/2017a + intel/2017a should probably be 2017a,
just as the iomkl-2017a, based on foss/2017a + intel/2017a

HI Åke,
Thanks for the heads up. Is that in the EB distribution? I can’t see it with
“eb -S gimkl”. gimkl/2.11.5 is the newest I see.
Best wishes

Nah the 2016.11 (and 10) was never pushed.
It was only used to build DALTON, and i need to update that anyway.

Hello,
I want to find out if anyone has OpenMPI configured with LSF. If so I have a
few questions.
1. Is LSF installed in a non-standard path? If so do you have
LD_LIBRARY_PATH set for LSF_LIBDIR in your OpenMPI module file.
2. The profile.lsf sets up environment variable below, t
Hello,
I'm an application engineer currently using Lmod on a RHEL 6.x cluster. I am
very interested in using EB to migrate some of the codes that I manage that

Howdy Jay,
The best examples are the easyconfigs included.
Once you have EB installed, do something like:
find $EBROOTEASYBUILD -name \*.eb
(where EBROOTEASYBUILD is a placeholder for where
EB is installed [and is set if you built EB with EB]).
for a list of examples Depending upon whether yo

Gentlemen,
Thanks for the links. The software is publically available (LIGGHTS is a DEM
code based on LAMMPS). Usually we just download the source, then reuse a
makefile and load the intel clustertool suite (2016) and then run a simple
build script that the chemist in charge has run.

Hi Jay,
I took a quick look and I saw that your package is built on top of LAMMPS.
Unfortunately LAMMPS is one of an ever-shortening list of applications not yet
supported by EB. Specifically for LAMMPS there have been a few attempts but
nothing in the main codebase yet:

Dear EasyBuilders,
I'm happy to announce the release of EasyBuild version 3.1.2 [1].
It turned out that the previous release included a couple of bugs, so it
wasn't the best release so far after all... But this one is!
This is a minor bugfix/update release. Highlights include:

Is the README at

That's based on how MATLAB was/is provided to us at UGent.
I know the way we're dealing with MATLAB is a bit of a mess, but I blame

Does anyone have a working easyconfig of GAMESS preferably with foss or intel

If so can you please create a PR.
