Bill, Those symptoms sound familiar. I believe your KPA100 is oscillating at about 600 kHz. During the KPA100UPKT installation, did you change C31? There is an omission in the kit contents and the instructions right now which is trying to be corrected, but has not yet been completed. If

Kevin, The KAT100-2 has all the 'hooks' to mount the KPA100 in the same EC-2 enclosure. If you already have a KAT100-1, there is a conversion kit to add the missing pieces, but you will have to order the EC2 enclosure separately. This is a 'no holes' solution. 73, Don W3FPR KBG Luxford
