I have just discovered that I have a trouble with my KXPA100 on 20m, and
only on this band.
The set up is a KX3 connected to the KXPA100 using the internal ATU of
the KXPA100 ; the fault occurs on the usual antenna (a 2x20 doublet +
450 ohms ladder line) or with a 50 ohms dummy load.

I have my new KXPA100 connected to the KX3 as described in the manual ,
via the adapter cable (page 13 of the manual) ; all is working fine and
the KX3 communicates with the KXPA100. I have made already some qso's at
100 watts.

With the antenna disconnected, I have noticed some very weak birdies
on most of the bands, with a 15 khz separation; most of them are below
the noise band level with a connected antenna; I made the test in a
remote place in the deep vcountryside in souith west of france, with a
KX3
