the K3-10 with no interior partitions so that probably contributes to the
issue. I installed a plastic cap on the back of the speaker and the low end
response is now a LOT better. I will probably us an exterior speaker
I used superglue. The plastic cap that I found was from an aerosol can and
fit almost perfectly, edge to edge around the outer metal rim of the
speaker. It may not fit if I install the second receiver, but I won't have
to worry about that anyway until after I get my daughter through college!!
Coming from CW, and being fairly new to other digital modes, I liked the
option with PSK D to occasionaly use the paddle instead of the keyboard.
Also, because I would sometimes use the radio stand alone for PSK D/FSK D,
it made sence to get used to how it works while I have the computer on and
