Not sure if this the correct address for this question. I am trying to send

attempts to send commands to the P3 and K3. I need the exact systax for the

Don,
I had the same problem, even after cataract surgery this week. I bought a
white marking pen at the local stationary/hobby store and put a 1/4 in. dot
in the middle of each button. Problem solved.

Has there been any update on the availability and cost for the redesigned
KAT500?
The Elecraft site still says fall 2011.
I have given up on February contest. Now hoping for CQ WPX CW in May.

Thanks to all who helped me with my first try at K3 macros. I looked thru
the k3 programmers ref. but could not see anything about the SBx command.
Is there another reference manual with more in depth info that I need?

Got mine last January. It took me 2 football playoff games plus about 1
hour. Works great. I now have a P3 and KPA500. A lot less time for them.
Happy new year

Maybe someone on one of these reflectors can help. I am trying to switch
the KPA500 between STBY and OPER via a Commander User defined control. I
tried '^OS1:' (without the quotes). Nothing. Any help out there?

First time I ever ran 'high' power from home in a contest. I'm sure I will
get trounced but had fun.

I have only had my K3 since January but no noise. I have mine set pretty
loose. I wonder if you could turn the pad over. If that stops the noise
maybe just replacing the pad would work.

I don't suppose that is not a misprint and you meant to say KAT500. Sure
would look nice sitting next to the K3/P3/KPA500. ;o)

I would like to thank all the elves at Elecraft including Stephanie Susan
and Leony who packed all those parts including itty bitty screws nuts and
washers in those little yellow envelopes.
Thank you for KPA500 #0576.
