[Elecraft] K2 Z10000 Buffer amp

Inputting 10MHz to K2 but no IF on rear BNC. Measured signal level from K2 at input of Z1 board is 35mV, on U901 pin 3 level is 10mV, but 'scope shows no signal at pin 6. Connecting K2 IF op to K3 ae input a very weak oscillation can be heard. Suspect AD8007 IC has gone, but what signal level

My K2 shows no bargraph deflection on 12m transmit. Checking on another receiver for radiation can hear the VFO with gain up, but no variation when power changed from 0.1 to 15w. All other bands OK, monitor receiver clearly shows change as K2 power control varied. Robert -- Robert Clutson g0

[Elecraft] K2 NO AF output

My K2 has no AF output, not even hiss. I suspected mute circuit but voltages on Q6 Q7 Source 4.8v, gate 1.1v and drain 4.8v, though low for gate may be within tolerance. There is 0v on all three of vols 1,2 3 at pins 1,2 3 of P1. Where should this voltage come from? The only visible

[Elecraft] K2 USB interface

When using the K2 with PSK I use the computer 9-pin serial port for the PTT. With only one serial port I then lose the digital read-out from the K2 into my logging program (LOG-EQF). Is there any published advice on connecting the K2 digital output to a USB port? thanks Robert (g0who) --

[Elecraft] K2/100 80m problem

I cannot get beyond the QRP power on 80m (using a dummy load) On 40m get the full 110 watts also on most other bands. Following the troubleshooting instructions on page 64 using the MFJ antenna analyser best SWR is 4.26MHz with SWR at 3.55MHz at 1.2:1 Any suggestions as to where I should look?
