Although this thread is way OT, I'll chime in with my $.02.
I use an email application called Agent it costs $20.00. You can
find out about it here: http://www.forteinc.com/agent/index.php

My simple solution:
Use a decent mail client and not a third party service like Nabble.
Don W3FPR has given a good explanation on using Mozilla Thunderbird and
I second that.

Yes, Mozilla officially no longer supports Thunderbird, but there are
still occasional updates, strange as it may seem. Current version is
17.0.7. It's an excellent mail client, and has a plug-in calendar and
scheduler. My preferred mail client prior to switching to Thunderbird
was Eudora...

I've been using Thunderbird for at least five years, and like it a lot.
I read a lot of email reflectors, and Thunderbird makes it very easy to
automatically sort each mail from each list into its own
Except you can't change fonts in XP. It just ignores changes you try to
make. This has gone on for years and apparently there is no motivation
to fix it.

Dick,
I am surprised to hear that.
Is there a statement from Mozilla itself (reference please) or is that
just another rumor on the internet?
Mine is up to date (thanks to Mozilla) and is more functional for my
email and calendaring (Lightning plug-in) than MS Outlook Pro.

I can choose whatever font available on my PC in the TB settings.
I ditched Live for Thunderbird years ago for it could not spell check in
my native language and Microsoft refused to do something about it so...
Now my OS of choice for daily work is Debian Linux
And XP is nearly history too.

In my view it is...

Don,
I took me awhile to find it again. I see in this link they use the word
'developing' instead of 'supporting' as is sometimes mentioned. Here is the

It's not necessarily a rumor. It may have been created by a
misunderstanding of a statement from Mozilla in 2012. Mozilla will
maintain, and even update Thunderbird, but it no longer will allocate
the programming resources on innovating or enhancing the mail client.

Dick,
That article is over a year old, and if the upgraded (not just updated
for security) Thunderbird versions that have occurred over the past year
is any indication, they are still doing serious development work on it.
Look at the major version number - those are upgrades. Other releases
I agree. I've been using Thunderbird through many versions; probably
longer than five years.
