Sorry, but the Low Pass Filters are shared between 2 bands on the 4 band
board. So 80 and 40 are not possible since 40 meters is the 2nd
harmonic of 80 meters.
You could change the 2 band board to an 80/40 board (or just buy a new
one) and save a lot of swaps. The only problem with

FB on your band collection. While I remember some at
ARRL HQ were trading 2-band modules back and forth
when the K1 was 'new' -- it wasnt designed for that
kinda band changing. If you really want to qrp on
80m, maybe another QRP project is in order. But no
kit single banders come to mind
Even though I'm sure that design work for the K1 is pretty far from almost
everyone's mind...
I've got a new-to-me K1 (s/n 735) and it's got both 4-band (40/30/20/15) and 2-band (80/17) boards.
Those are pretty good combinations at a higher point in the solar cycle - but right now, I find that
