hi all , thank you for you responses to my query , I appear to have the hi
current warning issue sorted by a firmware fix that elecraft have provided,
further testing ( when I get my full array of antennas back up ) will hope
fully conclude that it's sorted and all is well !

hi mike, I'm new to my kx3 kit and guess what I have the same problem you
have described ,hi current on 6m tx but mine is from 4.4w to 5.0w when
running off of mains power supply of 13.8v, it's fine on 5.2w and over ( but
do find that I then get high temp warning after more than 30seconds tx ?
My kx3 does the same on 6 meters fm

I haven't checked it in a long time. If I get time, I will re-check. I never
did hear from anyone else about it.

Help:
A brief followup: this only occurs with the DL1. I tried it just now going
through my LDG antenna switch to a dummy load, and everything works as it
should.
As I originally said, it's just a quirk specific to my DL1.

Has anyone seen a KX3 high current warning on 6 meters, but only at 5.0 watts?
4.8 5.2 watts are fine - just at 5.0 watts.
My setup: MCU 1.23, DSP 0.99, ATU in bypass, DL1 dummy load directly connected
via a double-male BNC, in CW or USB (haven't tested other modes). The display
shows a 1.4:1
