It would be really nice if there was an option to assign macros to the P3
function keys instead, programmable through the P3 utility.
Let's hope the Elecraft guys read this :)

As N2BC explained to me, the programmed buttons on the K3 work directly
rather than through the CAT 'stream', so the commands don't get

I wrote a P3 macro to center the display (instead of having to press [hold]
SPAN/CENTER button twice - I use Fixed Tune Mode. The macro is:
#FXT0;#FXT1;#FXA1; and works fine when executed from the P3 Utility.
It also works fine when I execute it from the K3 Utility (which simply
