Great news Rick. Can you give me some details to get me started? Are
you using the "KPA1500 Remote" application? No problems with port

how to do that depends on your router(s).

Is it possible to use the x.ddns.remoterig.com service with user name and
password to communicate with a remote Elecraft KPA1500 amplifier directly
without the need for an attached pc? How may that be done?
KPA1500 Remote application doesn't seem to be configurable to accomplish
this.

This set up has been working without problems for several weeks. Then CAT
connection problems began. Audio is received and decoded, the K3/0 can
control the radio, however When WSJT is started, the familiar ³Rig Control
error² dialog box appears. In the Settings Menu under Radio, It does NOT

I have been using the set power per band and locking it but was wondering, for
an up coming club field day, if anyone knows a way of setting the max power out
but still being able to adjust down from that point.
I am using the K3S with an Expert 1.3 so would like to set a limit for club use

Ray,
It sounds like you did everything right. Sorry to hear of your
disappointments.
Do you have a computer soundcard that you know works with a computer
microphone?
If so, plug the Proset K2/3 mic into that soundcard - it should work.
To check the adapter, plug a computer mic into the Proset

I did not assemble my K2 (no 4099) which I bought second-hand and I now wish

According to the instructions which came with the ProSet , (Step 1) I have

Ray,
Locating those screws is actually easy. Look down between the Front
Panel and Control Board and you will see two hex standoffs about 3 cm
down and about 4 cm from each side panel. The screws thread into those
standoffs.
The one on the right is easiest - just remove the screw.
